Why people use it
Sharp results
Large images are scaled down in steps, which keeps edges cleaner than one big jump. With a size limit set, the tool picks the highest quality that still fits.
Private
Your image never leaves your phone or computer. There is no upload.
Free
No account, no watermark and no limit on how many images you resize.
Fast
It runs in your browser, so there is no waiting for an upload or a download queue.
Works everywhere
The page adjusts to phones, tablets and desktops. JPG, PNG, WEBP and GIF are supported.
Exact size
Set the width and height in pixels, or give a maximum file size in KB.
Questions
Will resizing reduce my image quality?
Making an image smaller always removes some detail. Scaling down carefully and keeping quality high keeps the loss hard to see at the new size. Making an image larger cannot add detail that was never there.
How do I get an image under a certain KB?
Type the limit in the Max file size box and press Resize. The tool lowers quality only as far as needed. If the limit is too small for the pixel size, it tells you to reduce the width and height.
Which format should I choose?
JPG suits photos and works everywhere. WEBP is usually smaller at the same quality. PNG keeps sharp edges and transparency but makes larger files, and it cannot be compressed to a target size.
Is my image uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens in your browser, so the file stays on your device.
